Was formed to ensure the coordination and collaboration amongst African American young men and women concentrated on the importance of completing secondary and collegiate education as a road to advancement. The 2024 Mu Mu Lambda Education Foundation, Inc. scholarships are non-renewable awards available to graduating high school seniors that are living in the state of Illinois pursuing a two-year or four-year degree from an accredited university. Up to ten scholarships will be awarded to students to help alleviate the cost of tuition, fees, room and board, and books.

In order to be considered for these awards, an application, essay and letters of recommendation must be completed and submitted no later than Tuesday, May 11, 2024 at 11:59PM CST. Student awardees will be notified no later than Saturday, June 1, 2024 at 5PM CST. Students are required to report any outside scholarships to their school’s financial aid office.

Mu Mu Lambda Chapter’s Education Committee will determine the selection of scholarships from objective and non-discriminatory criteria. Scholarship awards are granted without regard to race, color, creed, religion, sexual orientation, gender, disability or national origin.
